One among many who are fundraising for some charity one way or another is Lisa Derrick - Cardiff Marathon runner who was inspired by her friend to do something more of her runs.

She is fundraising for the Cancer Charity Tenovus and will run London Marathon 2012.

Matt Silva, Vale of Glamorgan Council's rugby development officer, is the man who will run London Marathon raising money for Welsh Rugby Charitable and those rugby players who suffered sirious injuries while playing rugby. .

7Waves and Totally Tranmere Podcast Cricket

A year ago a cricket game between Tranmere Podcast and 7Waves Radio was played to raise funds for Claire House - a hospice which cares for children aged from 0 - 23 years with lifelimiting/lifethreatening and Paul Harper raised money through Just Giving. The site is still open to show your support.
